Ukrainians continue to receive pensions and other social benefits. Some citizens need to go through an identification procedure in order to receive pension payments. The Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) in the Donetsk region told how pensioners can undergo identification.

How can a pensioner undergo physical identification?.

The PFU explained that there are the following identification methods:.

Online using " Subscribe" To do this, you need to log into your personal account on the PFU web portal using “Diya. Subscribe" Identity will be confirmed automatically.

Video call. You can submit an application on the PFU web portal (without logging into your personal account) in the section “Application for identification using video conferencing”. A Fund specialist will contact the pensioner for a video conference session.

At a diplomatic establishment (abroad). A pensioner can receive a document from a foreign diplomatic institution of Ukraine confirming the fact that the person is alive. This document must be submitted to the PFU authority.

Personal visit.

A pensioner can apply personally to any PFU service center in the controlled territory of Ukraine.

At a branch of an authorized bank. Recipients of pensions or other payments made through an authorized bank can be identified directly at the bank branch. To do this, you must present an identity document. The bank carries out identification and transmits the relevant information to the financial institution.
