The iconic captain of Eintracht F retires at home

According to a Twitter post by Eintracht Frankfurt, former Eagles center-back David Angel Abraham, who recently played at home for Atletico Huracan from Buenos Aires, decided to end his professional football career at the age of 35..



The Argentine performer took part in 178 matches during his performances in the German Bundesliga, scoring five goals and giving seven assists from summer 2015 to mid-January 2021.

Abraham is also known for his performances for Argentine Independiente (39 matches, 1 goal), Spanish Gimnastic (36/3) and Getafe (13), Swiss Basel (150 games, 9 goals, 8 assists) and German Hoffenheim (50/4.

During his career, David won the German Cup with Eintracht Frankfurt (2017/18), three-time Swiss champion (2009-12), two-time Swiss Cup winner (2010, 2012) and world champion in the U-20 category (2005).
