British boxer Anthony Joshua refrained from commenting on a possible fight with Tyson Fury until his next fight with Christian Prenga.

The Brit noted that at the moment he completely needs to focus on the upcoming opponent and he does not want to show a lack of respect by discussing a potential mega-fight with Fury, France24 reports.

“There is no point in continuing to talk about conquering the universe until you have passed this checkpoint,” he noted.

According to Joshua, the upcoming fight represents an important stage for him. He believes that there is no reason to talk about future major goals until the current stage is completed.

It was previously reported that Fury questioned the organization of the fight with Joshua.
