Shakhtar's head coach Paulo Fonseca commented on the match with Dynamo, spoke about his decision to stay in the club and much more.

In the 32nd round of the championship of Ukraine Shakhtar lost to Dynamo 1: 2, but even earlier the "miners" guaranteed themselves the championship. They also won the Super Cup and the Cup of Ukraine this season.

At the post-match press conference, Fonseca discussed with journalists a number of important, and sometimes provocative questions.

"First of all I want to congratulate Dynamo on victory. The match did not solve anything, but it was more open and pleasant to watch. In the first half time could not score. The opponent once got to our goal and scored after the corner, we had before before two scoring chances. I note that the people of Kiev started the second half better and put in another ball. We reacted and created several opportunities, where we had to equalize the account. In any case, the winner is the one who clogs more, and no one has more moments. The Dynamo won, "- said Fonseca.

- For you it was a principled duel or, as Valery Lobanovsky said, an exercise with increased responsibility?.

- No, this is an important match, and we wanted to win. It is clear that there were not enough important players, because I decided to give the opportunity to other guys. We approached absolutely seriously and with the sole purpose - to win.

- Four meetings and four defeats: what did Dynamo outperform Shakhtar in terms of tactics?.

- You must be more careful, because the defeats are not four. We won in the Super Cup and in the final of the Cup of Ukraine - yet this is far from what you wanted to say. Now for our fights in the championship: they are solved in details. It is clear that from a tournament standpoint the game did not really mean anything, only the result speaks for itself. But I think if we fought here for something else, the result could be different. In our composition: I know many people want to use this as an excuse. I have not seen a single championship, in which the outcome is discussed only between the two teams. Do not forget that there are matches with others. And regardless of the outcome there is a certain fact, which was known even before the meeting: Shakhtar - champion. And not only. We also won the Cup and Super Cup of Ukraine. In the match with Dynamo, only three more points were played. By the way, last year such questions were not asked.

- Which football players will leave Shakhtar? Who will join the cast?.

- We are practically finishing the list of players for the next season. Great changes will not be. At the moment, none of the guys left. The miner will leave one or two football players - you will find out about this in a short time.

- Congratulations on the championship and the extension of the contract. Why did you choose Shakhtar, because it is known that there were other proposals?.

- Thank you. Yes, it's true, but I feel very good in Shakhtar. I was well received and respected in Ukraine. Despite the fact that there were even more profitable financial proposals, I decided to stay and continue the work started two years ago. I'm happy in this club and country. There were no reasons that would motivate me to leave.

- How long have you been thinking about your future: day, week, month?.

- During negotiations it is necessary to weigh everything correctly. I can not say how much time I pondered, but we discussed various issues, and that was enough.

- What are the main advantages of Ukrainian football, which motivated you to stay?.

- When you win, it's more motivated to stay. Fortunately, in two years we won almost everything here, and also held a great campaign in the Champions League. Ukraine has a huge potential. In such a large country with so many young guys involved in football, there is room for progress, the release of the championship to a higher level. At the same time, there is another fact: unfortunately, the stadium does not come as many people as, for example, for this match. And football in any case should be a holiday, which motivates players and coaches. Now a new president has joined the ULP, and I hope, together with the president of FFU, they will understand what steps should be taken to improve the league. Personally, I understand this simply. At the moment, Ukraine does not have the financial capacity to sign the best football players of the world. I'm not talking now only about Shakhtar and Dynamo - for a good championship, only two of these clubs are not enough. We need other teams, and progressing. It is necessary to engage in the formation of youth. It all starts from the youngest age - this is the future of Ukrainian football. It is important to invest understanding from childhood, and then you do not need to look for big players somewhere abroad. I hope with the new president of the league will be found options for improving football in the country. You also need to consider what you need to do to increase attendance. More fans should come to the stadium, because football is a phenomenon that still attracts people.

- Tell us about Srna's future on your team.

- As you know, now Dario is running out of contract. At the moment this situation is still being assessed.

- Comment on, please, the act of Nem in the last seconds.

- In this situation, I could not understand what was happening, because it was far from the epicenter of events. I only know that he fell and tried to cut the pass. Then there was a problem and an argument between the players. Fights Shakhtar and Dynamo are always very hot, but in this episode I was at that time figured out not to the end. Then a huge number of fans ran out onto the field, and this is quite dangerous, in my opinion, for all the participants in the match. Fortunately, nothing seems to be happening. Thank God, nothing serious.

- When you first appeared in Shakhtar, you had many admirers, you were gentle and calm. However, gradually your behavior changed, you began to give in, you reminded Lucescu of something. Become like you were, and you will continue to be respected.

- Thank you. You know, for me it's not a problem to talk about it. I'm a non-conflicting person. I'm in love with football and I want it to be an ideal spectacle, a holiday for all. But what happens? It's not always easy to control your emotions. The fact is that last season I was emotionally restraining myself. I must admit that in the present until December there were moments where it was difficult to cope with all the senses. In some games, there were a lot of dishonest. And when we feel injustice, it is not easy to control emotions. In the winter off-season I sat down and analyzed myself. I came to the conclusion that in one or two games of the first part of the season,. In some cases this was done not only by me, but by the whole team, so I talked to my players and myself admitted my mistake. Since that moment he has again become an emotionally stable person. I think that in the second part of the championship there were no problems: I did not protest, did not argue with any arbiter. I'm not looking for excuses.. When I lose, I am the first person to congratulate an opponent. At all I do not want to be the motive of some conflict. Now everything is absolutely normal.

- The question of young players. Why rarely goes Petryak? Grechishkin did not appear on the field. And for what was Fomin signed?.

- Young did not play, because in the starting lineup for the match comes out eleven people. There are things that are difficult to explain, but I will try to convey to you my thoughts. We have a team of winners, built on the foundation of the players who spoke in it and in the previous season, so in principle it is very difficult to get to. Have you listed Grechishkin, Tankovsky, Petriak and Fomin? Let's start with the attacker. Everything functions well, because we are winning, right? We have a forward who played well and constantly scored. At the end of the season he has 30 goals, and it's about something he says - the footballer always showed himself well. When everything is good, it's not easy to put another. I will not remove Ferreira and put Fomin just to give a few minutes to Fomin. The same applies to Tankovsky and Grechishkin. To remove Fred and Stepanenko, who show themselves well, help us win, just to provide minutes to the rest? We must take into account a lot of factors. There is a constant evaluation of training and matches.

Any footballer who comes to Shakhtar is not easy to get into the squad and play constantly with those guys that we have today in the cage. In my opinion, it's very easy to understand.

- Are you satisfied with the actions of those who were called to replace the main absentees?.

- It is clear that the released guys lacked a competitive rhythm and pace. Fred and Tyson are players who can bring a little more to the team's actions. Speaking in general, I liked how my players performed. They do not have much time, and I was pleased with them.
