Yesterday in the Hall of Fame of British football were introduced new players. Among them was Gary Speed, who died in 2011.

The Welshman played in the elite division of England for five clubs: Leeds, Everton, Newcastle, Bolton and Sheffield United. Won one championship with Leeds. He is the fifth in the number of matches in the Premier League after David James (572), Frank Lampard (609), Ryan Giggs (632) and Gareth Barry (632).

Recall that in 2011, Speed ??committed suicide.

Also in the Hall of Fame were recently retired ex-midfielders of England Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard.
