On December 11, as part of the third stage of the Biathlon World Cup, a women's relay race took place in Hochfilzin, Austria.

Ukraine was represented by Irina Petrenko, Yulia Dzhima, Daria Blashko and Elena Bilosyuk.

Ukrainian women used 13 additional rounds, losing one and a half minutes to the winners of the race from Sweden.

The Swedish team was ahead of the Russian national team, which finished second, by almost half a minute. Third place in France.

Recall that in the last draw of the Biathlon World Cup, Ukraine won two silver medals, which were won in the individual race and sprint by Yulia Dzhima.

Also, Ukraine won a bronze medal in the women's relay at the World Championship, and in the individual races of the European Championship, Artem Prima won gold, and Anastasia Merkushina became the second. Ukraine has not yet won medals in the new season.
