Today, February 14, at the 66th year of life, the head of the department of zoology and animal ecology of Kharkiv National University died. Karazin Victor Tokarsky.

“Today, unfortunately, the famous zoologist, head of the department of animal zoology and ecology, professor Tokarsky Viktor Arsentievich passed away. He devoted his whole life to the study and preservation of one of the most valuable species of steppe representatives - the steppe marmot, ”he wrote, expressing condolences to the scientist’s relatives.
