Finland and Sweden entered the top countries with the best anti-cancer medicine

Finland and Sweden were included in the group of countries with better cancer medicine, according to a study published in the scientific journal The Lancet.

The researchers compared the proportion of patients with oncological disease surviving for 5 years after the first diagnosis. The best results in addition to Finland and Sweden were shown by the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Iceland and Norway.

For example, Finland leads in terms of the share of recovered children with leukemia - more than 95% live at least 5 years after the first diagnosis. And in Sweden, the world's greatest success in treating brain tumors in children - 80%.
