More than a thousand hectares of farmland were flooded in Transcarpathia

At the moment, 1280 hectares of agricultural land are under water. According to the press service of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service in the Transcarpathian region, as a result of the rising water level in the Borzhava River, a 50-meter section of a local road near the village of Komyaty, Vinogradovsky District.

Movement of vehicles on this section of the road is ensured, and the height of the water does not exceed seven centimeters.



Recall, as reported URA-Inform, the State Emergency Service warned about the rise in water levels on the rivers of Ukrainian Transcarpathia and the freezing of the rivers of the Pripyat basin in the coming days. According to weather forecasters on Monday, February 5, the water levels above the levels on the Latorica River in Chop are expected to increase by 1.5-2.0 meters. There is also the possibility of water coming to the creek of the inter-amphibian space.
