Relatives of the victims of the crash of the Malaysian Boeing flight MH17 in the Donbass have the right to compensation of several hundred million dollars under the ruling of the US court.

This is reported in the plot of the Netherlands documentary TV program Zembla, reports Het Parool. It is noted that the transfer of the trial will be aired on March 7. What kind of US court is it - is not specified.

The suit was filed by family members of 25 victims of the MH17 disaster.

The American court ruled that the responsibility for the destruction of the airliner of the Buk SAM is borne by the "Russian officer" Igor Girkin (Strelkov).

The court found total compensation to relatives of victims of the tragedy of $ 400 million - $ 20 million each. It is noted that the chance that they will actually receive compensation is insignificant.

Girkin himself did not appear in court, but in Moscow he was not found at his home address. Lawyers of relatives of victims of plane crash intend to arrest property of Girkin. But, as the newspaper writes, most likely, it will not be enough to pay hundreds of millions of dollars.
