During downpours gusts of strong wind can reach 15-20 meters per second. According to the press service of the State Service of Ukraine for Emergencies, referring to the weather forecasters, until the end of the day in the Odessa, Mykolayiv, Kirovograd and Cherkassy regions, thunderstorms are expected, in some areas hail and squalls.

In Volyn, Rivne, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Khmelnytsky, Zhitomir, Vinnitsa, Odessa and Mykolaiv regions there will be heavy rains.

In Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, Poltava, Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhya regions are expected wind gusts of 15-20 meters per second.
