According to the Ministry, the provisions of the Law establish the voluntary application of national standards, abolish the need to harmonize draft national standards with state bodies, abolish industry standardization.

Voluntary application of standards meets the requirements of the Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade of the World Trade Organization, as well as the European Standardization Principles.

"In European practice, references to certain standards in legislative acts, in particular in the EU directives, are isolated cases," reads the statement.

The department added that the adoption of this resolution will eliminate inconsistencies in certain norms of certain legislative acts and will help bring the national standardization system in line with international and European norms and rules.

Recall, according to experts, in Ukraine there are manufacturers whose products are 90% falsified.

At the same time, experts are convinced that the system of second-hand control over the quality of food products is completely distorted by us - violators do not show or punish, and consumers do not react properly to complaints.
