The other day, 52-year-old Hollywood actor Ben Stiller received a new status.

The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees conferred on him the title of UN Goodwill Ambassador. This was reported by the agency after the actor met with refugees from Central America in Guatemala who were forced to leave their homes because of violence.

"I am proud and consider it a great honor for me to fulfill the role of Goodwill Ambassador of UNHCR, an organization that works tirelessly around the world, helping men, women and children fleeing from wars, terror and persecution," commented his new status Stiller.
