Donald Trump did not like Oscar-2018: "There are no stars". Specific sense of humor for Donald Trump (the other day he said that the next candidate for the "departure" from the White House - his wife Melania Trump) again made itself felt: on the net discuss the joke of the US president about the Oscar-2018 prize. The head of the American state, having learned that the 90th award ceremony had the worst rating in its history, released a snide comment:.

The lowest rating ever! The problem is that we no longer have stars-except your president (joking, of course),.

- Donald Trump wrote on Twitter.

The opinions of Internet users are divided: some support Trump, recalling the ceremonies of the past, more interesting, in the opinion of many, others believe that the 71-year-old president is simply behind the times.

But Trump is right in one thing: the anniversary ceremony of the Oscar award this year showed the lowest ratings in the entire history of the broadcast. Compared with last year, the number of viewers decreased by almost 20 percent and amounted to about 26.5 million people.

At the same time, the broadcast was the longest since 2007 - 3 hours 50 minutes (no matter how hard Jimmy Kimmel tried to cut the show).

And the current Oscar was very predictable, which disappointed many film critics. Surprise waited only in the main nomination: the best film of the year was Guillermo del Toro's "Form of Water", although everyone expected the victory to win the picture "Three billboards on the border of Ebbing, Missouri" by Martin McDonagh.
