Singer Tayanna, who is now actively working on the release of the Ukrainian-language album, decided to distract herself from the sessions at the studio and went to draw inspiration from one of Europe's biggest music events - the 51st Jazz Festival in Montreux.

"These three days of the festival radically changed my understanding of music. I saw how the musicians devoted themselves to their work, they could only admire and follow their example. I was fortunate enough to hear the live performance of Chilli Gonzales, who made spectators experience the full range of emotions: we cried, and laughed, and were angry. I also enjoyed the performance of the modern classic Max Richter and got to know the incredible electronic music of Nicholas Jaar, "Tayanna.

The vocal mastery at the music festival was also demonstrated by the singer herself. By chance, at the hotel where the participants and guests of the festival lived, Tayanna met the musicians of the 14-time Grammy Award winner, Herbie Hancock: multi-instrumentalist and sound producer of the songs of many foreign stars Terras Martin, George Duke and other members of the team of the icon of modern music.

Later, after seeing Tayanna in the hall during a jam session, new acquaintances invited the singer to the stage and offered to sing together. The musicians performed an improvised melody, and Tayanna "put" on it the lines of the folk song "Do not you come? ".

"I decided that at such a festival the Ukrainian folk song should sound. Lines of the song "Do not you get priests? "Harmoniously approached the melody that the musicians performed, so we got such a wonderful international collaboration," the singer says. "I'm glad that I had the opportunity to meet beautiful musicians, talk to them about music and exchange contacts.

They are incredible people and maybe someday we will be able to work together ".

During the weekend in Switzerland, the singer managed not only to listen to jazz compositions, but also to get acquainted with the sights of the city of Montreux. Tayanna visited the Chillon castle on the rock, strolled along the favorite places of Freddie Mercury and admired the beauty of Lake Geneva during the traditional morning jogging for 10 km distances.
