The director Pavel Mashchenko revealed some of the plot moves of the fifth season of the “Doctor on duty” series, and also revealed some professional and personal secrets ... For several seasons, director Pavel Mashchenko has been busy filming the first Ukrainian-language medical drama “Doctor on duty”, a joint project of the FILM studio. UA and TV channel "Ukraine".

Pavel admitted that he wanted to get into this project. He also spoke openly and simply about his family - grandmother Nina Sergeyevna and the famous grandfather - Ukrainian director Nikolay Pavlovich Mashchenko ... What will the new 5th season be about? What surprised the viewers?.

The fifth season will be very intense! The focus will be on the detective line: the criminal story will spin around the young nurse Sophie and not only her! The investigator Soroka, who is familiar to the audience, will actively investigate the case, and our doctors will help him in this - after all, they take the most active part in the lives of their patients..

The new heroes who appeared in the fourth season will also manifest themselves in the fifth: this is Herodiada Maksimovna, psychologist Zenik who is in love with her, as well as Dr. Oleg Sergeevich Dobrochercher ... And what about Dr. Mazur?.

He will safely get out of the coma and even appear at the clinic, so that viewers will be able to see their pet.. But I can’t say how his fate will develop further.

Believe me: even I do not know how the series “Chergovy Likar” will end! Even the fate of Mazur is still unknown to me ... But in the story of Mazur, a very new organ is replaced by a new doctor - Oleg Sergeevich Dobrwecher.

Tell us about the production of the series: how many directorial teams shoot it?.

Two production directors are working on the show: one is preparing for the pool (these are two episodes), the second takes off. The whole group is going to prepare for the shooting;. Then the participants carefully discuss the locations, scenery, make-up and costumes, burns, fractures, operations. Meanwhile, the second group is filming the series..

Can you change the scene or the words of the hero directly on the set?.

It is excluded: such controversial points are discussed during the script reading. All the changes that are made, then made, and I rehearse with the actors before shooting.

Pavel, confess: it's hard to take a week, then a week to prepare for the shooting?.

Well, not easy - let's say that, but this is about your favorite business! And this is all justified: the better you prepare for the shooting, the better you will get the result. Special training requires complex surveys: for example, it is necessary to remove how a person is hit by a car or a child falls on the glass and injures his hands.. It is not simple.

Funny episodes are?.

Of course! It happens that an actor makes a funny reservation - and the whole group laughs. We have a wonderful character - the nurse Josipovna, actress Galina Pavlovna. And when she loses the text, she first laughs and says: “Well, that's it, start over! "Children, when they are prompted for some time with a special make-up - cuts, burns, start to complain of pain - so they enter the role. We convince them that all these wounds are not real ... Are you ready to continue the series?.

We are happy to start shooting the sixth season. And not only we, but also the group of authors.. Now the stories are becoming more deep, interesting and twisted.. Our authors write in a very short time and give deep plots..

How did you get on this show?.

I really wanted to get into this project! And just then the directing tests took place: in three hours we had to shoot several scenes. I went through all the tests, then I waited a few months for the decision of the producers.. And on New Year's Eve they call me and say they accepted me. It became a happy directorial ticket for me ... Pavel, your grandfather - director Nikolai Mashchenko - was a significant figure in Ukrainian cinema. Tell me: does the famous surname interfere or help in the profession?.

You know, I never used the name and connections of my grandfather. He was gone 5 years ago, then I was just starting to shoot Mystical Stories.. In general, I started from the beginning, for several years I worked as an assistant.. And I always made decisions myself and made my way.

But you wanted to work in a movie?.

Of course! My grandmother brought me up, it was she who instilled in me a love for cinema. And I went to directing thanks not to my grandfather, but to my grandmother, Nina Sergeyevna Mashchenko, who worked as a film engineer for many years.. You can say she dedicated her life to me, raised me, put everything she could - I love her very much. In October, Grandma turns 91, God bless her.. But the grandfather, although he had another family, did not forget about me..

It seems that you worked with your grandfather Nikolai Pavlovich on the set of his latest film “Bogdan-Zinoviy Khmelnitsky” ...

Yes, I was 24 years old, I was his assistant. Then, following the story of my grandfather, I made my debut film “German Teacher”, because Nikolai Pavlovich also wrote. For this tape was awarded a presidential grant in 2013.

Do you, Pavel, have a family? Is there anyone to pass on your favorite business by inheritance?.

Unfortunately, not yet. In general, I dream of having a family and children ... But so far, when I come home, only a cat meets me, which I picked up two years ago.
