Hollywood actor Johnny Depp, who recently undergoes financial difficulties, can now celebrate the victory.

The star finally managed to succeed in a lawsuit against his own former legal adviser, whom he sued last fall, Hollywood Reporter.

Depp decided to sue Jake Bloom, who in good faith solved all the legal issues of the actor for 18 years. However, during the scandalous divorce of Johnny with Amber Hurd, instead of paying the attorney's fees, the actor filed a lawsuit against Jake.

Interestingly, the statement said that it was Bloom that should give Depp money, not just some, but tens of millions of dollars.

Johnny indicated such a claim on the grounds that Jake did not have a written agreement with Depp, and the oral one could be considered invalid, so the actor demanded that Jake return all the fees paid someday.

Interestingly, the chances of winning Depp were not too great: in Hollywood, such verbal agreements, based on honesty and reputation of customers, are considered normal.

However, Judge Terry Green sided with Depp.

"I believe that we now have to create a precedent that will forever change this custom. All transactions must be written in order to avoid cases like what we are considering now, "Green said..
