One of these days the Ukrainian singer Egor Gray presented the first track after a long change of his creative image - "We know how to love". And today we talked to Egor and found out whether he would shoot a clip for a fresh single, whether he wanted to become an actor and how he usually reacts to criticism.

Egor, your new track "We know how to love" is a positive and bright message. Tell us more about it: from where the idea? What do you think about when you perform it?.

Yes, the song is really very bright and life-affirming, it bears the right message and encourages the society to love more and more sincerely, because not everybody knows how much in our world. The song "We know how to love" is very close to me in terms of life and experience, it responds to me and so when I heard it from the composer Sergei Bakai, I immediately wanted to fulfill it.

When I sing, I do not think - I feel with my heart. The words of the song remind me of all the sensations that I once felt. Therefore, performing it, I miss everything through myself and show the listener a sincere emotion.

Are you going to continue to sing about love?.

Of course. Love is the foundation of the universe. There are, of course, good social songs that call on people to improve themselves, make some decisions, and so on.. But, in any case, at the head of all the good is love.

Are you planning to shoot a video for the song "Can we love?".

There are times when you understand that you need to do something only when you see the reaction of others. So we have a clip: if this composition causes a large-scale reaction of the audience and a desire to see the visualization, then we will make it. In the meantime, I do not want to guess in advance.

How do you perceive the criticism of your work? Who is the main critic for you, and the mentor?.

I accept it, experience it and let it pass through myself, of course, if it is reasoned. My most important critic is the listener and his perception of the song. And my main mentors are professional people (teachers of vocals, acting skills and others) who know their business and teach me this. I listen to them because of their vast experience. They have a special understanding of the sphere, they know how to feel an artist, so their opinion is very important to me.

How do you communicate with your fans?.

The most pleasant way of communication is creativity: performances, concerts, and just listening to songs online. Plus I, of course, write in social networks, I read all the comments and personal messages and try to answer them.

As they say, a talented person is talented in everything.. Tell me, Yegor, what kind of arts have you tried or are planning to do in the near future?.

I want to reformulate a little: every person is talented! And the position "a talented person is talented in everything" depends on how much a person could realize himself. After all, I believe that 90% of success is work, and only 10% is talent.

And about other arts: I'm close to fine art, sculpture, cinema, theater ... In all I want to try.

Many of the singers sooner or later try themselves in acting. Have you thought about this?.

Naturally, I do not exclude this option. If there is an opportunity, I will be pleased to play a role. Acting is very close to music, every artist, from the part, the actor. You can not sing without feeling the mood of the song, not knowing how to convey emotionally the story. In addition, life can happen differently, but when you step on the stage, you need to sing with the proper emotion, and it does not always correspond to your mental state at that moment. You have to be a real artist and do your job..

What do you consider to be the greatest achievement in your life?.

Definitely, it's still ahead. There are skills, skills, achievements, but "a great achievement" they are still very early to call. Perhaps in the future I will write memoirs, where I will answer to myself and readers on this issue.

What kind of sport do you prefer?.

I do not take sport from a professional point of view. I do not understand people who give this to their whole life, are engaged in hours and days, are torn and even injured. For me, sport is a way to maintain a balance between the physical and spiritual state. I go to the gym, I do not always have the opportunity to go swimming or running in the fresh air, and the hall is always convenient.

Have you already managed to relax somewhere in the summer?

Your favorite country of those you've been to?.

All summer, and not only, I worked on myself and new tracks. So it did not work out, but I do not regret it.

From the countries where I visited earlier, I remember Thailand with its exotic. But I feel closer to Europe, I fell in love with Barcelona and the whole of Catalonia. Warm sea, temperamental people, delicious food is my.
