Prince William, who recently led a 4-year-old son, Prince George to school, along with his wife Kate Middleton chose the name of the baby.

As you know, royal people do not have names, because there is no technical need for this. Officially, George's title sounds like His Royal Highness Prince George of Cambridge, and his full name is George Alexander Louis.

To make it easier for the teachers and classmates of little George to live, the royal family had to decide how their son would be called at the school.

In the end, Kate Middleton and Prince William decided that their son would be called George Cambridge, writes The Mirror.

By the way, by tradition, kings and princes took their surnames from the titles of their parents. Since Prince William wears the title of Duke of Cambridge, Prince George received the surname Cambridge. Also, at one time the princes William and Harry were listed in the school under the name Wales, as their father Charles - the Duke of Wales.

Recall that Prince William and Kate Middleton will soon give Prince George and Princess Charlotte a brother, or sister. The other day it became known that the Duchess of Cambridge is the third time pregnant.
