Streaming service Netflix published the trailer of the film "The Other Side of the Wind" by Orson Welles. The famous director began work on the picture in the 70's, but in 1976 the shooting stopped due to problems with funding.
The pseudo-documentary tape tells about the aging director Jake Hannaford, who is working on his latest painting. However, the film can not be completed - Hannaford dies on his 70th birthday.
The role of the cinematographer was performed by the actor and director John Huston, who died in 1987.
After the death of Wells in 1985, other directors tried to finish the painting. In 2015, Wes Anderson and Noah Baumbach announced the launch of a $ 2 million campaign to complete the installation and release of the "Other Side of the Wind".
The film will premiere on August 31 at the Venice Film Festival. On Netflix "The Other Side of the Wind" will be released in November.
