In Kiev, August 30, an exhibition "We were here" was opened by the Ukrainian photographer Anton Shebetko. The heroes of the project were representatives of the LGBT + community, who served in the ATU zone.

Anton Shebetko - Ukrainian photographer and artist living in Amsterdam. He works with topics related to the LGBT community. According to him, the series "We were here" shows people who, on the one hand, are modern Ukrainian heroes, and on the other - are ignored by the majority of their compatriots.

"Most heroes have to wear camouflage not only in the service, but in everyday life. They do not make public cum-outs in civilian life, most hide this information in the service, "- says the photographer.
