"Paris. The Seine Coast "and the" Historical Center of Rome "became the most popular requests for Wikipedia among all the objects of UNESCO's cultural heritage. According to the European Statistical Service Eurostat, for the year 2017 the article about the banks of the Seine was read almost 7 million times, and about the historical center of Rome - almost 6 million.

Of the 20 most popular attractions in Wikipedia, UNESCO 10 sites are located in the EU countries. On the 4th place in popularity - the request "Auschwitz-Birkenau" (Auschwitz), the 8th place is occupied by the "Historical Center of Vienna", the 9th - "Budapest", notes EuroPulse.

In the second ten were the "Historical Center of Prague" (12th place), "Archaeological excavations in Pompeii" (13th), "Venice and its lagoon" (14th), "Historical Center of Warsaw" (17th) and "Stonehenge, Avebury and the neighborhood" (19th).
