As noted by critics, "Apartment" - the perfect movie for Christmas. Not such a Christmas as we would like to see it - with a rustling fireplace fire, bells, snow - and a real Christmas. Sometimes cheerful, sometimes boring, sometimes lonely.
The experts also stressed that despite the sad events that occur with the heroes on the eve of the holiday, the tape gives viewers a sense of hope.
"Apartment" was nominated for an Oscar in 10 nominations and received five figurines. The main roles were played by Jack Lemmon and Shirley MacLane.
