Alexander Maslyakov, the president of the KVN International Union, resigned from the position of director of the Moscow Youth Center "Planet KVN" on his own initiative, and not because of the inspections of the prosecutor's office initiated by Transparency International, the press service of the union told RIA Novosti.. Earlier, Transparency International published a study according to which a conflict of interests arose under the management of Maslyakov of the Moscow Youth Center "Planet KVN", as being its head, Maslyakov transferred ownership of Alexander Maslyakov and the company (AMOK TTO) to the TV creative association, the founder of which is himself, the cinema "Havana".
In May, Transparency International sent an application to the prosecutor's office with a request to verify the activities of Maslyakov. In May 2017 the Moscow prosecutor's office reported that the deal was agreed with the Moscow property department. The organization challenged the response of the Moscow Prosecutor's Office to the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, and only after that the Moscow government dismissed Maslyakov from the position of director of the State Unitary Enterprise by order of July 21, 2017.
