The legendary dancer, champion of the USSR and winner of the championships of the socialist countries, Honored Artist of Russia Stanislav Popov entered the history of ballroom dancing in the country. And later, taking over the organization in the country of tournaments - both national and international - became an extraordinary organizer. Another page of his life - the creation in 1987 g. Russian Dance Union. Today, expanding its borders and functions, it is called the Russian Dance Union. Over the years, the domestic dance has developed so successfully that he was conquered by the heights of world dance. On the seventeenth of December in the cozy hall of the Congress Hall of the World Trade Center, friends, colleagues and admirers of Stanislav Popov. The celebration will begin with the show specially prepared for the anniversary by the company Dance. ru of the film "Dance and be happy!". This slogan has been the life motto of Stanislav Popov himself for many years. The first department is devoted to the sports component of ballroom dancing. For the first time the "Stanislav Popov Cup" will be held among amateurs. He will gather six of the strongest Russian pairs among juveniles, juniors and adults in different programs - Latin American and European. Judges will be judged by members of the RTS Presidium.

And dance, as art, will be devoted to the second branch. Many RTS professionals and guests of the evening will perform in the show. With their numbers they will create the lifeblood of the hero of the day. Among the participants of the show are finalists, as well as world and European champions:
