Lip reading expert Jeremy Freeman tells the Mirror what Donald and Melania Trump talked about while dancing the ball after the inauguration. According to him, communication between the spouses was quite gentle.

“We will never forget today,” Melania whispered in her husband’s ear.. He replied: “You’re right, I’ll learn, I’ll fight.”. Melania then apparently said, 'I got you,'"

Trump then continued:.

" Can you control it? Less cunning, less repulsive? To this his wife answered him “No”.

Trump concluded by saying, “I hear you.”.

Freeman also “read” the conversation between the first US couple at the Commander-in-Chief’s Ball, which took place the same evening before the Freedom Ball.

" Can you smell my aftershave " To which Melania said: “I know.”.

Melania Trump looked luxurious at the balls. She wore a long dress in white and black, resembling a bouquet wrapped in ribbon.. The outfit was custom-made by designer and Melania's longtime stylist Herve Pierre. He also sewed her dress for the inaugural ball in 2017.

The Trumps performed their first slow dance to the Battle Hymn of the Republic, accompanied by the US Marine Corps Band, before being joined on stage by Vice President J.D. Vance and his wife Usha.

Then both couples danced with the military personnel, as is customary. Trump danced with a Space Force sergeant, while Melania enjoyed a dance with a member of the Honor Guard, who have not yet been named..
