"Rossiyskaya Gazeta" writes that in the Kremlin a number of publications in the Russian media on the topic of presidential elections and possible participation in them of Vladimir Putin were called political reasoning.

A spokesman for the head of state Dmitry Peskov commented on reports that the Kremlin began forming a list of proxies in the run-up to the 2018 elections: "This is rather a political discussion".

Peskov recalled: "The President has not yet announced his decision". He added: "The presidential administration is guided precisely by the moment when the president declares his decision. This is what our work consists of ".

The representative of the Kremlin continued: "No one is going to rush ahead. The installation of the head of state is to work, not succumbing to premature electoral moods, that the administration does. All the rest so far belongs to the category of political reasoning ".

Peskov, on a request to comment on the procedure for nominating Vladimir Putin, stated in the media, said:

"Again, political scientists look through the rosary of hypothetical opportunities in the framework of the legislation, trying to guess what options will be used in case the president decides to go to the polls".

The press secretary of the head of state once again reminded: "The President did not speak about the intention to nominate himself. While there is an ordinary, fairly intense daily work ". Dmitry Peskov concluded: "And all pre-election procedures, whoever is running, of course, must be carried out in strict accordance with the law".
