The Wall Street Journal writes, with reference to the delegate, that the OPEC Monitoring Committee recommends prolonging the Vienna agreement to reduce oil production by nine months.

The publication informs: "The Monitoring Committee recommends prolonging the Vienna agreement for 9 months. The extension of the agreement for 9 months suggests that oil reserves will be reduced over a given period ".

At the same time, the newspaper specifies that the committee recommended to keep the volumes of oil production reduction with the prolongation of the Vienna agreement.

Later today, on Wednesday, it became known that this information was confirmed by some ministers of the OPEC member countries.

The Wall Street Journal writes: "The OPEC Committee and representatives of non-OPEC countries recommended on Wednesday to extend the production cut-off period by 1.8 million barrels per day for nine months. The recommendation is not binding, but, most likely, the coalition will agree with this on Thursday ".
