RIA Novosti reports that French Prime Minister Bernard Kaznev said that the French leadership on Friday, April 21 after the incident on the eve of the attack on the Champs-Elysees in Paris, discussed security measures ahead of the upcoming Sunday. April 23 presidential election.

Execution after the extraordinary meeting of the French Security Council stated: "The Security Council, under the leadership of President Francois Hollande, with the participation of the Ministers of the Interior, Justice, Defense, Foreign Affairs, in detail discussed security measures in the final stage of the election campaign".

He noted that on the voting day more than 50,000 policemen and gendarmes and about 7,000 servicemen will be mobilized to ensure security.
