CEC recognized Kostriychuk, Voitsekhovsky and Kozyr as elected people's deputies

The Central Election Commission recognized Sergei Kozyr and Vitaly Voitsekhovsky as people's deputies elected in the midterm elections to the Verkhovna Rada on October 31.

Serhiy Kostriychuk was also recognized as a People's Deputy, who will replace in the Verkhovna Rada Irina Vereshchuk (Servant of the People faction) elected as Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.

" In turn, Vitaly Voytsekhovsky was elected to the OVO No. 197 as a people's deputy of Ukraine, for whom 15,429 voters voted (46.1% of the number of voters who took part in the voting. The relevant protocols of the CEC were signed by all members of the commission present at the meeting, "

It is noted that the CEC members also recognized Serhiy Kostriychuk as an elected people's deputy of Ukraine at the early elections of people's deputies on July 21, 2019, who was included in the electoral list of the Servant of the People political party under No. 140.

Sergey Kostriychuk - founder and head of the Public Association " Graduated from the Faculty of Law of the National Aviation University and the Faculty of Economics of the National University of State Tax Service. During the presidential and parliamentary elections, Kostriychuk coordinated the work of regional headquarters. In 2020, he became a member of the Supreme Council of the party, in 2021 - the head of the Control and Auditing Commission.

Extraordinary elections on October 31 were held due to the early termination of the powers of the majority MPs Igor Kolykhaev and Alexander Skichko. Igor Kolykhaev, elected in constituency No. 184, resigned in connection with the election of the mayor of Kherson, and Alexander Skichko - in connection with the appointment of the head of the Cherkasy regional state administration.
