The Ministry of Energy and Housing of the Sverdlovsk Region has completed work on the creation of a unified information system for technological connection to utilities and power facilities in the region. After testing - in April-May - legal entities will be able to use the Internet portal, and from 2019 it will be available to all Sverdlovsk residents, the Governor's Information Policy Department.

According to the Minister of Energy and Housing of the region Nikolay Smirnov, the creation of an information system for technical connection was carried out within the framework of instructions of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region Evgeny Kuyvashev to improve the availability of communal infrastructure for consumers.

"Electronic services have already firmly entered our everyday life. They are easy to use - to get one or another service, today it is enough simple desire and access to the Internet. The regional portal for technical connection is fairly simple and understandable for the consumer and is aimed at making services for connecting to life support facilities faster and more transparent. This is especially true today for small and medium-sized businesses, "the minister said..

Nikolai Smirnov recalled that earlier, within the framework of the target model for increasing the availability of communal infrastructure for consumers in the Middle Urals, a series of measures was carried out that allowed to shorten the term of connection to power networks with a capacity of up to 150 kilowatts. On official websites of the largest network organizations in the region, there are "private offices" through which customers without additional visits to the office can not only submit documents and issue an application for connection, but also monitor each stage of the contract.

Municipal formations with a population of more than 100 thousand people introduced the principle of "single window" when issuing a permit to allocate land for the construction of electric grid facilities.

The whole procedure is carried out within 10 working days.

The work on increasing the availability of energy and communal infrastructure for consumers, as well as improving the Internet portal for technical connection, stressed Nikolai Smirnov, will continue. In the second half of 2018, he noted, the information system is planned to expand due to placement of interactive maps and electronic models of power grid facilities, gas distribution systems, heat, water supply and water disposal in it..
