Citizens of Ukraine, and not representatives of the International Monetary Fund, should be the first to get acquainted with the innovations in the pension legislation.

This was stated by the leader of the faction of the Radical Party, Oleg Lyashko, while on a working visit to Mariupol, the RLM press service reports..

"Mariupol Hospital No. 4 employs 700 people. The vast majority of them receive a penny salary. Accordingly, when they retire, despite these reforms, which are now being implemented, they will receive a penny. But they still do not know how much. I am convinced that these people should be the first to know the size of their pensions. The government should work for Ukrainians and report to the Ukrainians, and not be an affiliate of the IMF, "the politician said..

Oleg Lyashko is convinced that Ukrainians receive normal pensions, they need to raise salaries.

"For example, a nurse has in the Mariupol hospital 3200 hryvnia salaries, and a doctor-beginner - 3600. Accordingly, they will receive pensions penny. I am convinced that the mechanical increase in retirement age or seniority will not solve the problem. A person who has worked all his life should not get or collect bottles, but should receive a normal pension, "the leader of the RPL.

At the same time, the MP is against increasing the retirement age. Considers it unacceptable.

"The average life expectancy in Ukraine is 63 years.

Raising the retirement age will result in people simply stop receiving pensions, because they will not survive to it. If the government, together with the IMF, sets this as its goal, let it be said. I believe that instead of raising the retirement age, it is necessary to support the national producer - such enterprises as the Mariupol Iron and Steel Works and many others. Then Ukrainians will receive decent pensions and salaries, "summed Lyashko.
