Since Tuesday, September 15, in a number of regions, namely in Kyiv, Zhitomir and Chernigov, the cost of travel on commuter trains has increased. This was reported by transport blogger Oleg Vasiliev.

According to his information, from now on the cheapest ticket will cost 30 UAH without commission. On routes longer than 250 km the price increased to 150 UAH.

In addition, Ukrzaliznytsia has planned the next stage of tariff increases for September 22.

“From this day on, travel on commuter trains in the Dnepropetrovsk, Odessa, Nikolaev and Cherkasy regions will become more expensive,” he added.

Vasiliev emphasized that the last time the cost of tickets for commuter trains was increased was in June 2025. Then the minimum tariff increased from 15 to 20 UAH.
