EU and 42 countries put forward Russian demands on Zaporozhye NPP

The EU and 42 countries called on Russia to immediately withdraw its troops from the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant and the entire territory of Ukraine. The corresponding joint statement was published on Sunday on the website of the EU Delegation to International Organizations in Vienna.

At the same time, the statement itself is dated August 12.

The statement was joined by the European Union, as well as individual countries - Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan.

Zaporozhye NPP has been occupied by Russia since March 4.

The invaders place military equipment and ammunition on the territory of the station, and also mined part of the station's facilities.

For two weeks, the Russians have been regularly shelling the territory of the Zaporizhzhya NPP.
