Tax Law 5600, adopted by the Rada on November 30, provides for the abolition of excise stamps for ordinary (non-sparkling) wines and test samples of alcoholic beverages - this norm will come into force on January 1, 2022.

We are talking, in particular, about ordinary (non-sparkling) wines and fermented beverages, the actual strength of which is higher than 1.2% by volume units of ethyl alcohol, but not higher than 15%, explained in the Tax. Provided that the ethyl alcohol contained in the finished product is of enzymatic origin.

And also - about test samples of alcoholic beverages not intended for retail sale and imported by business entities licensed to wholesale trade in relevant products for research or testing, but not more than 3 liters of each product.

Research and testing means the calibration of laboratory equipment, tastings, the study of physical and chemical indicators, design.

Today, all alcoholic beverages sold in Ukraine with an ethyl alcohol content of more than 8.5% by volume are subject to marking with excise stamps..
