Ukraine completely refuses to cooperate with Russia. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Nezalezhnaya Vladimir Groisman on Friday, March 16. "We are preparing the government's decision to terminate the program of economic cooperation signed in 2011," he said on the air of 112 Ukraine TV channel,. Groisman explained that his goal is to lead Ukraine to the West. Therefore, links with the past, including economic ones, must be urgently and ruthlessly torn. "Our policy is to maximize our own economy. We will limit and eliminate cooperation with the aggressor state, "the prime minister said, stressing once again that Kiev is actively trying to establish relations with the West and join its economy.

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin said that his ministry will initiate the denunciation of the Treaty of Friendship, Cooperation and Partnership with Russia, as well as the withdrawal of the country from the CIS. As the experts note, for Nezalezhnaya this will mean the loss of many economic preferences and established business ties. The program of economic cooperation between Ukraine and Russia is designed for the period from 2011 to 2020. It provides, among other things, free movement of citizens of both countries through each other's territory, deepening the free trade regime and mutual protection of investments.
