According to the minister, the main task of the ministry is deregulation of the work of regional airports. It is supposed that already in the first half of this year a Cabinet of Ministers decision will be adopted that will allow each regional airport to independently run its business and financial policy.

If this happens, it is not the state in the person of the Ministry of Infrastructure that will determine which tariffs and conditions to set, and each airport independently.

However, the security issues department will keep on control, but the issue of business activities will be in a completely free format.

In addition, the Ministry of Infrastructure works together with people's deputies over the issue of VAT abolition for domestic flights.

As previously reported, "URA-Inform", the international airport "Kiev" published the rating of the most popular flights among Ukrainian passengers. During the past year, 155,000 passengers used the services of the Kiev airport "Kiev".
