According to the bank, the current dynamics of the real sector indicators and the results of the first half of the year indicate an increase in the probability that economic growth will exceed the forecast of the National Bank by 1.6.

At the same time, although the economy continued to grow in the second quarter, its growth rate slowed down. According to the National Bank of Ukraine, a slight slowdown in economic growth will continue in the second half of this year.

In addition, the slowdown in GDP growth was in line with the expectations of the National Bank and is associated with the adaptation of mining and metallurgical enterprises and energy companies to the new conditions of activity in which they found themselves as a result of a break in trade and transport ties in the east of the country.

Recall, as previously reported in URA-Inform, the National Bank warned Ukrainian banks, as well as other participants in the financial sector about external attacks by hackers on banks and enterprises.
