According to Mikolskaya, the European Parliament has already decided to introduce quotas. The very act will come into force at the beginning of October, and tariff quotas will take effect from the first January 2018.

The list of tariff products includes: cereals, wheat, dairy and meat products.

The deputy minister is sure that this will give a great impetus to Ukrainian farmers, as Ukrainian agro products in European markets have good competitiveness. This will be an additional motivation for grain companies to earn more.

This step on the part of the EU confirms the fact that the Ukrainian economy is gradually integrating into the European market.
