As the press service of the Fund informs, the IMF mission representative will arrive in Kiev within the framework of the fourth revision of the EFF program. Mission period in Kyiv is not yet approved. David Lipton will be in Kiev from 12 to 14 September.
Recall that according to the new schedule of further revisions of Ukraine's economic program, approved by the board of directors along with the fourth tranche, three revisions were planned by the end of 2017: the fourth one in mid-May, the fifth in mid-August, the sixth in mid-November.
If the authorities successfully fulfill the requirements set by the program, Ukraine, following the results of the fourth revision, may attract 1.907 billion dollars, in the fifth - 1.
28 billion dollars, following the sixth - 1.28 billion dollars. Overall - about 4.46 billion dollars.
In 2018, the next four reviews are planned, following which Ukraine can attract about 955 million dollars. Overall - about 3.82 billion dollars.
As reported URA-Inform, the Minister of Finance of Ukraine, Alexander Danilyuk, said on July 5 that he expects in the autumn the IMF decision to provide the country with another credit tranche within the framework of the EFF program.
