Throughout Russia begins a massive quality check, which will allow us to assess the specifics of the market for each region of the country and outline the ways of development of the industry. The study will deal with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation in conjunction with Roskaschestm, the ministry said on Monday, June 19.

"The study will take place in three directions - on compliance with mandatory safety indicators, GOSTs and increased standards of Rockiness," the report says..

"Modern economic realities are pushing the market to focus not only on the affordability of bread, but also on its consumer characteristics," said the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov. According to him, consumption of a popular product in Russia over the past 10 years has decreased by a quarter from 66 to 49 kg per person per year.

At the same time, the minister believes, such data are due not to the reduction of the incomes of the population or the lack of bread, but only to the deliberate choice of the consumer. "In this context, the all-Russian study of quality will assess the specifics of the market for each Russian region and outline the vectors of the industry's development," the minister said..

The Head of Roskachestvo Maxim Protasov added that the study will be presented for each federal district. "Every month, experts will anonymously buy bread in 5-10 regions and locally provide results so that by the end of the year we were able to analyze the situation on the market of the whole country and create a visual picture of the results," said the head of the Rosca.

The project will start in the Central Federal District, where about 70 most popular brands will be purchased. The study will include samples produced in Belgorod, Bryansk, Vladimir, Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kaluga, Kostroma, Kursk, Lipetsk, Ryazan, Smolensk, Tula, Yaroslavl regions and Moscow. The results of the first study of bread produced in the territory of the Central Federal District will be made public on the portal of the Moldavian Government by the middle of July.

In the best domestic laboratories, samples are examined for 50 indicators of quality and safety. Bread will be checked for pesticides, phosphates, traces of potato disease, physicochemical parameters such as moisture, ash content (the amount of minerals contained in flour - ed.. ), The amount of gluten. The study will reveal the "naturalness" of the product, t.

Experts will learn what artificial additives and substitutes were used in the production of bread.

As the "Financial Newspaper" notes, now large producers of bakery products suffer losses due to returns by retailers of unsold products. The return of bread is associated with a significant decrease in demand for it. In this April, Rospotrebnadzor supported the introduction at the legislative level of a ban on the return of unsold bread or other products with expired shelf life to the manufacturer.
