The Commission of the State Aviation Service at the meeting on April 28 approved the applications of "International airlines of Ukraine" for obtaining rights for flights from Kiev to Stockholm-Skavstu, Manchester and Eindhoven, the avianews reported.. Com in the Office.

On the same routes, Irish low-cost Ryanair intends to launch flights in late October 2017.

Currently, the existing intergovernmental agreements allow airlines to fly without restrictions between Ukraine and Sweden.

Flights between the UK and Ukraine have quotas for the number of flights on the Kiev-London line - 17 flights a week and on other routes - 7 flights a week for each of the parties, however, these quotas are not fully used.

Arrangements between Ukraine and the Netherlands allow flying between the countries only one airline from each country - from Ukraine the destination is UIA, from the Netherlands - KLM. Thus, in case the agreement is not changed, Ryanair will not be able to start flights from Eindhoven to Kiev.
