In the Mexican city of San Francisco-Ihuatlan, Oaxaca, a suspected rape was thrown into a cage with crocodiles. This is reported by the Tape. ru with reference to Newsweek.

20-year-old man was detained on suspicion of rape. In addition, he was accused of sexual crimes against two other women. He tried to kill one of them when she resisted.

A few minutes after the arrest, a crowd gathered near the police station, demanding lynching of the suspect. Enraged people broke into the prison and dragged the detainee out of the cell.

Police officers tried to calm the audience, but they were not listening.

The crowd dragged the man to the nearest park. He was stripped to cowards, beaten, and then thrown into an enclosure where two crocodiles are kept. He was rescued by policemen.

Although the reptiles did not manage to reach the man, he suffered serious injuries during the beating. He was taken to the hospital in an unconscious state. The ward was put on guard in case the disturbed crowd returned.
