Police officers conducted an examination of 12 hectares of the area and the adjacent territory and evacuated 420 people on Liberty Square in the center of Kharkov. This was reported in the State Institution of the National Policy in the Kharkov region.

Recall that today around 12:00 in the duty part of Shevchenkovsky police department received a message that there will be explosions on Liberty Square.

To verify information at the address went investigative-operational group, the cynological service, experts, forensic experts and explosion control of the Kharkiv police.

Investigating the issue of entering the fact of the incident in the Unified Register of pre-trial investigations by h. 1 st. 259 (a knowingly false message about the threat to the safety of citizens, destruction or damage to property) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Now police officers are carrying out all the necessary search measures to identify those who have made a false report about the mine.
