Representatives of the US Government Efficiency Department (DOGE), which is led by Ilon Musk, gained permission to access the secret system of the Ministry of Justice with information about legal and illegal migrants, writes The Washington Post. The system is used to store information about migrants that interacted with the US immigration system. Including ECAS contains the names of people, their addresses, previous indications in immigration courts and the history of interaction with law enforcement agencies.
