US President Joe Biden urged Congress to approve a new package of financial assistance to Ukraine worth $24 billion. These coins may strengthen the defense of Ukraine against persistent Russian aggression. Information about the question was expanded by *Politico*, relying on documents seized by journalists.

$16 billion of the raised funds will go directly to replenishing American military reserves that were previously transferred to Ukraine. Another $8 billion was transferred within the framework of the *Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative* (USAI) program. This initiative allows the Pentagon to place contracts with armored personnel carriers instead of transferring equipment from warehouses.

According to officials, the document is filled with funding for submissions to Congress on Monday. The Biden administration will not include this proposal before the expanded package of government spending, which is planned to be considered in the chest. However, according to *Politico* estimates, the chances of this question being praised are slim due to political differences between Democrats and Republicans.

The Republican camp has already received critical statements at the initiative’s address. Senator Mike Lee on social media *X* (on Twitter) after seeing the storm. He called Biden out on “approved” loans to Ukraine in the amount of $4.7 billion without agreement with Congress and stated that there would be further requests for financing the blame for the recovery. Also, assuming that aid to Ukraine could harm the peace initiatives of ex-President Donald Trump.

With the Republicans on their side, the Biden administration speaks of the importance of helping support the Ukrainian army..

Representatives of the US government have repeatedly stated that support for Ukraine is a key element in the global struggle to preserve international law and order.

The current feed is part of the Biden administration’s broader strategy, aimed at providing Ukraine with the necessary resources for defense over the long term.. Proceeding from the remaining decision to wait until Congress votes, political debates about current policies and expenditures for the federal budget are baked in.
