The European Council has adopted the principles of the decision to create a Ukrainian fund worth €50 billion for the period 2024-2027, reports the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. The decision is a clear signal of financial support for Ukraine from the European Union, changing the approach until the cost is seen.

Based on the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, funding from the Ukrainian Fund will be allocated for various spheres, agriculture, to support macroeconomic stability, modernization and modernization of the country and Swedish integration to the European Union.

In reaction to the historical decision of the European Union for the sake of the 14th century about the opening of negotiations with Ukraine before joining the EU, the Ministry of Health determined an optimistic view on the beginning of preparations before negotiations and an analytical assessment Ukrainian legislation.

Diplomats also agreed on the importance of the new package of EU sanctions against Russia, as they would reduce the possibility of circumventing the sanctions and financing the Russian military machine.

The MZS reinforced the importability of further military and defense support to Ukraine from the side of the EU and its member states, in particular, through the European Peace Fund and the EU Military Assistance Mission.

The Ministry of Health has expressed hope for the Swede to establish a mechanism for the recovery of Russian frozen assets for the renewal of Ukraine through the upcoming Ukraine Facility.

Respectfully, despite the veto of the Ugorsk region, the decisions of the EU member states supported the provision of financial assistance to Ukraine. The European Commission also showed its readiness to find workarounds for approving the budget without the support of the Ugorshchina.
