Dutch police detained drunk Boris Johnson from Ukraine

Dutch police detained a Ukrainian on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The law enforcement officers who arrested the man were surprised to find that former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, his photo and date of birth were indicated on his driver's license, The Guardian reports..

Fake Ukrainian driving license allegedly issued in 2019 and valid until the end of 3000.

Police spokesman Thijs Damstra said police were investigating an incident shortly after midnight Sunday when a car crashed into a pole near the Emma Bridge in the northern city of Groningen.. The driver fled the scene, but the police detained him on the bridge.



“The man could not identify himself and refused to take a breathalyzer,” Damstra said..

A 35-year-old man from the small town of Zuidhorn, west of Groningen, was arrested and the police searched his car..

“In the cabin, the police found a fake driver’s license that belonged to Boris Johnson,” said the law enforcement officer..

Police can't tell where the fake document was made, the driver's license was probably purchased from a gift shop in Ukraine.
