Allies of Ukraine must do everything so that the Ukrainians defeat the Russian occupiers in 2023, Czech President Petr Pavel said on BBC HardTalk. According to the Czech President, he sees no opportunity for a second or third chance, because in the event of the defeat of Ukraine, the Russian Federation will not stop.

Petr Pavel is convinced that in 2024 it will be more difficult to defeat the Russian invaders, because “support for Ukraine naturally fades”. The journalist noted that the President of the Czech Republic says extraordinary things, from which the head of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin will be delighted if he hears.

To this, Pavel replied that he voiced an objective view of the realities. He added that support for Ukraine is slowly declining, in particular in the Czech Republic.. The Czech president is convinced that the longer the Russian-Ukrainian war continues, the less support will be.

According to Pavel, if the allies stop supporting the Ukrainians, then the Russian Federation will most likely win and “take this as confirmation of the correct approach to its foreign and security policy”.

“And as we openly heard this from their top representatives, Russia will not stop in Ukraine,” Pavel said..
