Two people were killed and several more were injured in an explosion at the Palmer Company chocolate factory in Pennsylvania, according to Bloomberg.. Currently, rescuers continue to search under the rubble for five more people who are considered missing.. One person was found alive under the rubble at night.

The explosion occurred around 5:00 pm ET on Friday and was so powerful that it literally razed the building to the ground and damaged neighboring.

Local residents said the explosion was felt about six blocks away..

An investigation is currently underway to establish the causes of the tragedy, but the main version under consideration is a gas leak..

Authorities have urged citizens to avoid the area around the factory while emergency workers continue to clear debris..
